FEFCO STYLES
The FEFCO code is a standard range of corrugated box styles. The following six are the most common and are shown as open and closed packs.|
BOARD OPTIONSOften overlooked. The type of corrugated board used can have a huge impact on the characteristics, look and feel of the finished box or pack. |

| Traditionally B flute single wall and BC flute double wall have been the most common corrugated boards used for packaging. However, recently these have been supplemented with new grades able to produce both lighter and stronger boxes. These can also provide significantly better surfaces for printing point of sale and shelf-ready packaging. | ![]() |
| A wide range of specialist boards suitable for converting into corrugated packaging are available. The top board shown is black, pre-printed on to a clay coat with a varnish finish. Board is avalible to meet virtually any application by varying the coatings and finishes. |
